It's so funny. Game Day and tickets are STILL available, and as low as 60 or less dollars. For a PLAYOFF GAME. Let there never be talk of the Bills as a good fan base every again by anyone. If you can't sell out a playoff game, with tickets below 100 bucks, regardless of the weathrt, your fan base is subpar at best.

It’s not just the weather, it’s:

1) 20% of the Bills season ticket holders live in the Niagara Falls / Canada area. Right now the border is a mess. You have to take multiple PCR tests. This is the biggest issue.

2) Bills have a vaccine mandate that went into effect mid-season. This resulted in nearly 1,000 people canceling their season tickets and getting refunds, and countless other general fans that are now not allowed to attend.

3) The weather.

Just not a normal year.

That being said, it’s not like the stadium is going to be empty lol. There is only 300 unsold tickets. That’s .004% of the stadium. In other words, you probably won’t even see an empty seat.

For the season, Buffalo is 9th in total attendance. That’s top 10 despite the border issues and vaccine mandate. New England is 12th.

I’d certainly hope not when tickets are that cheap. You’ll probably see people doing stepped-on blow off credit cards in the 100 section for those prices.

LOL

Less than 12 hours to go

I have NO clue.

Everything feels right for an upset.... unfilled stadium, super cold weather, patriots have Stevenson back...

But then.... Buffalo seems ready this time around to avoid that. They seem ready, like they did in week 16 when they beat us at home. Josh Allen acknowdgeled his circulation issues, etc.

There's also some stuff going for them: the temperature will be cold, but the wind will be normal - which means the Bills will be less prone to overthinking. It also means the Pats may try to throw more, which can mask Buffalo's run defense.
The weather will only be dreadful tomorrow.

Pats have a tackle out, Jalen Mills is out, the Bills have extra receivers returning, etc. And they aren't afraid of us. Even in that first game, they weren't afraid. They're the better team, so it comes down to their mentality.

If the game is tight and low scoring, that helps the Patriots. But if Buffalo goes up 10-0, it's a wrap.
Buffalo is 2-4 vs playoff teams, including 0-2 at home.
This believe that they are invincible is off the mark.
The entire difference between their seasons is Damien Harris fumbling with the game in hand week 1.

Anyway i was expecting a much more warm reaction

Honestly...

I am a little bit surprised about it...

And notwithstanding yr explanations-point of view

Meh.

This is true of most teams. Most can look at 1 or 2
plays that changed the season.

For example - If Josh Allen didn’t slip on Titans grass, the Bills have the #1 seed.

Regardless it shows his close three teams are. 16 weeks against almost the same schedule produced the same results, and the difference is the patriots fumbled away the 17th and the bills didn’t.
Im not saying anything should be different because you earn it in the field. I’m saying these teams are as evenly matched as 2 teams can be.

Oh I agree.

I think the entire AFC playoff field is basically even.

I know lot of people expect more out of harry but i think he is a great run blocker. Wilkerson had a good game vs the jags to be honest he was wide open on all the plays.

I love that Wilkerson could play
He reminds of that other PS player we had in the 2000s which the entire fan base wondered why he doesnt play much but never made it. I forget the name . His jags game performance is getting way too much play IMO.

So the current cornerback situation is JC Jackson and spare parts.

Lots of excuses for the Bills fans. What are going to be the excuses for the Bills players when they lose tonight?

I am licking my chops and looking forward to the gameplan we'll bring tonight- it'll be a different approach than the previous 2 meetings. Looking forward to seeing what extra wrinkles we unveil tonight, especially on D.

BB has always ratcheted his coaching up a notch in the postseason, going lefthanded when others think he'll keep doing it righthanded. McDermott isn't that good of a coach to do likewise.

On that alone, the playing field should be evened up.

Pretty much. The line went from -4 Buffalo to -4.5.

Line just moved to -5.

The sharps are putting heavy money on Buffalo right now.

This happened right before Game #2 vs NE as well.

Postseason pay doesn't count against the cap, and I believe Wilkerson gets the active roster pay even if he's inactive. So I wonder if he was elevated just to pay him a little extra at no cap cost.
