2005 season week 17 against Miami. *That* game was phoned in - they clearly did not want the 3 seed, wanted to face Jacksonville as the 4 seed.

At least they showed up in that game. The phone in was really just Cassel throwing that last pass to the cheerleaders. I'd say this one is more blatant, with that game taking the #2 slot.

YMMV, though. This may be worth a poll thread.

The fact that we lost to a Jets team getting rolled by the lowly Bills speaks volumes. BB has to change strategy here. Either play to win or don't and if not take your key guys out

It's not about going to Denver or not going to Denver. It's that winning the game but losing more players is no better than a loss + no injuries.

Sorry if I was rude but I honestly dont understand what people's expectations are at this point.

We cant even have the required number of players active, the inactives read like a pro bowl selection list and yet it is expected to have no effect on the game?

I trust the coaching staff that was perfectly prepared for a pick play on the last play in the SB to also be conservative with a reason. You try to keep the game close with as little risk as possible and then go for it when necessary.

This team has big problems, Edelman and Vollmer aren't fixing this.

This team looks like the 2009 team right now, injuries have finally caught up.

I expect that, come the first playoff game, this team will look like the AFC favorite it is.
