Philadelphia will likely be without Dallas Goedert for this week’s matchup against Tampa Bay.

The Eagles announced they’ve placed the tight end on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

The Saints switched kickers last week by dumping Aldrick Rosas and brining in Cody Parkey, but Parkey’s time in the lineup is up.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Saints are putting Parkey on injured reserve.

Parkey injured his groin in pregame warmups before the Saints beat Washington 33-22 on Sunday. He made three of the five extra points that he attempted in the victory.

It will be Parkey’s second injured reserve stint of the year. He was briefly on the Browns’ list during training camp before being released.

With Russell Wilson recovering from finger surgery, the only healthy quarterbacks the Seahawks had were Geno Smith and Jake Luton. They added another Wednesday.

The team announced it signed Danny Etling to the practice squad.

The New York Jets have brought back a familiar face. On Monday, the club agreed to terms on a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles that sends veteran quarterback Joe Flacco to East Rutherford in exchange for a conditional Day 3 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Currently, that pick is a sixth-rounder but can be boosted to a fifth-round pick based on Flacco's playing time.

The compensation has been agreed to, according to sources familiar with the situation. The Texans should get the three first-round picks they’ve been asking for, but Caserio might have to accept lesser picks than the second-round selections he’s demanded.

Dolphins’ owner Stephen Ross has approved a Watson trade, but he wants his legal issues resolved. The only way for Watson to do that before the trade deadline would be to settle the 22 civil suits. League sources say Watson doesn’t want to settle his cases because he believes it would be an admission of guilt.

Before a deal can be completed, Ross would have to find out from commissioner Roger Goodell if Watson would be suspended under the personal conduct policy, and if so, how many games he would miss.

Melvin Ingram is on the move.

Ingram, the veteran linebacker who saw his playing time dramatically reduced in Pittsburgh, is being traded to Kansas City.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that the Chiefs are giving up a sixth-round pick for Ingram.
