Russell Wilson stood helplessly on the sideline during the Seahawks' loss to the Rams on Thursday night. Wilson will remain on the sideline for the foreseeable future after rupturing a tendon in the middle finger of his throwing hand during Thursday night's game, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. The Packers won’t have cornerback Jaire Alexander on Sunday at Cincinnati, and for at least the next two games.

Alexander has been placed on injured reserve with a shoulder injury, which means he must miss at least three games before returning.

The 49ers’ offense has suffered a big loss.

All-Pro tight end George Kittle is being placed on injured reserve and will have to miss at least three weeks.

When Giants head coach Joe Judge provided updates on injured members of the team during his Monday press conference, he said that cornerback Rodarius Williams was still having tests on his knee and that the team might have an announcement later.

The team did make an announcement on Monday afternoon and it wasn’t a positive one. Williams will miss the rest of the season after tearing his ACL in Sunday’s 44-20 loss to the Cowboys.

#Giants WR Kenny Golladay is expected to miss this week with a knee injury, source said, but a major sigh of relief all around. The initial fear was that it was major… but should be just a week or two. Actual good injury luck for NYG.

San Francisco quarterback Trey Lance suffered a knee injury Sunday that may cause him to miss time.

Coach Kyle Shanahan said today that Lance has a knee sprain and might not be available for the 49ers’ next game, in two weeks against the Colts. The 49ers are on their bye this week...

It was reported on Monday that Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire would be out for a bit with his MCL sprain.

Kansas City has made a roster move so that the timeframe is at least three weeks.

The Chiefs placed Edwards-Helaire on injured reserve, one of several Tuesday moves for the 2-3 club.

Edwards-Helaire i njured his eft knee during the third quarter of Sunday’s loss to the Bills. He exited the field and was soon after ruled out for the contest.
