This is a late post... But does anyone remember that Jones forced fumble? I was just thinking how much was the WR to blame really? I mean the offensive player always has some blame but that is damn near the most blameless forced fumble I've seen. A very good blind side punch out.
Gunner seems to almost have a special return all the time... it's like he lines up to be where they ain't but then doesn't have the speed to take advantage of what his eyes see.
I think he'll coach them up to be better than they are now, but it's a process. The line usually improves throughout the season, and I don't think this season will be any different. But yeah, there's no substitute for talent and Wynn is way way more talented than Newhouse
