Unfortunately the top PR backup from camp tore his Achilles and is on IR.

I’d agree with that assessment. Different game plans call for different types of players. Perhaps as time goes on, Rivers can elevate his game and become the rusher and the container. For now, Davis gets the nod in this type of situation. I’m not worried about it.
