Yep. While Cooks does well what he does overall he really has not been a game changer unfortunately.

If Brady had thrown a strike when cooks left his man in the dust 50 yards downfield that would have been a game changing play

Cooks is arguably the best deep threat in the nfl. He’s just not a chain mover

I've noticed a great trend where as soon as I start pouring whiskey the Pats start playing better. I finally started pouring before this drive.

My liver is taking one for the team, guys. Time to turn this ship around.

haha i need to restock Ration Rum from Maine Craft Distilling.....wife & i did shots at the start of OT last superbowl

I'm gonna say something that might put in hot water, but here it comes: Amendola is doing a poor job replacing Edelman as the Slot. He's great finding holes in Zone C, but he's been awful against Man C.

Unfortunately, that was something that I kinda expected already... He was never cat-like quick like JE11, but against 4th stringer, he was awesome, as a #2 WR, he is lackluster

Still the clutchiest SOB out there, would throw to him in every third down

Time for Cooks to step the f**k up....

agreed......when Jules is back, it's going to be an interesting offense

i like Brown's 3rd year leap, finally playing like a 1st round draft pick
I thought people were being way too hard on him earlier this year. In my opinion, he’s had a fine year. Good to see this kind of progression.

This one is going to come down to who has ball last.....as hard is that seems considering we ARE AT HOME....with the greatest QB in the history of the game at the helm...but O is just struggling....OL is a big part of that and our OC should be finding ways to get creative and open up things for our WR somehow!!!!

DA is not JE11.

he would look a lot better with edelman

I agree but that doesnt change that his route tree and usage so far has been very limited (and disappointing tbh).

He's kind of faded in the second half of the year. There's a chance he might be wearing down.

More Gill. Give him a chance and let him show what he has got.

Good stop...Brown really stepping up the past few games....taking his game to the next level!!!

100% agree. As much as people harp on the Pats defensive drafting recently, and sometimes justifiably so, I'm starting to really like the prospect of a young DL anchored by Flowers, Wise and Brown. I was really low on Brown before this season but I think he's played his way into a starter-level second contract. We just need one more big guy in the middle; maybe Valentine's the guy if he can stay healthy.

nice running by Gillislee
