Really don't think I was wrong when I posted this week that this defense is not only injury depleted, but it was talent depleted BEFORE the injuries.

I mean, who are we missing? Van Noy, Branch and Hightower?

We have no decent backups for these 3?

We're picking up guys off the street this year and starting them. We've really bled so much talent, and it is showing.

Belichick has always been stingy, unwilling to pay for good caliber players on defense. Oh wait, no... He paid Gilmore #Facepalm

Well not much but it does make you think this team could be ripe for an upset in the playoffs if they don't correct these things.

They have to win THIS game for the playoffs to matter

Looks like the Bills are ready to play. Pats have a Pittsburgh hangover?

It's been 3 weeks of this ****, unfortunately. I don't think it's an aberration anymore, I think the injuries have just caught up to them and exposed them as, in their current form, a pretty average football team.

Hopefully they manage to play their way into a bye and take the extra week to get Brady rested and healthy, and hopefully Van Noy and Branch as well.

Taylor's fine. He's not the greatest quarterback in the world but his legs make him a threat you have to gameplan around and he doesn't throw many interceptions. The Bills could win a Super Bowl with him, but if they do they'll be forced into the "overpay Joe Flacco" cycle of average QB play.
