The Patriots will rebound if they lose tonight. The schedule is pretty darn easy after this game until Cleveland. KVN will never get this moment back (If he plays and if his wife gives birth). KVN's #1 obligation is to his family. Not to a bunch of fans that want to win a sports game. Yes I'd prefer he play. But he isn't.
Why isn't DT active? And to the poster above, it would be a huge mistake to release him. AB & Gordon are both ticking time bombs (For different reasons). Take those two away and only Edelman is left.
We live in a different era, with regards to this topic, than just 10-15 years ago. In the past, you went to work or hit the pub. Then it became more acceptable to be at the birth. Today, you're derided for not being in the hospital.
So, at this point, I'm really in a "Do as you wish" position for everyone, but there's no way in hell you'd ever catch me in the delivery room, or at the hospital.
