I have to wonder how much the lack of ability to plan contributed to things. If they knew immediately after the Vegas game that Cam had COVID would they have tried to play Stidham? Makes sense to go with the veteran when you get so little time to change plans like this. Or is Hoyer just straight up better than Stidham right now?
I'm not particularly invested either way, I like Hoyer well enough as a spot starter, but very curious about Stidham's development.
It would be interesting to listen to a candid convo between BB and McD (or even Ernie Adams) after losing Cam & Mason. I know BB will be doing everything he can to get a W. but he’s a pretty sharp dude. He must underdtand his odds.
