Look. Naughty namecalling aside. Anybody care to make the rational case Mac is better than Zappe? C'mon now.

There's a lot of recency bias here.

Zappe has looked better than Mac this year.

But Mac had an excellent year for a rookie last year and looked as good as Zappe has so far.

Let the competition begin. But you look at several of Mac's games from last year, and they are up there with this, are they not?

It's also harder if you're coming from Western Kentucky instead of Alabama, haven't been getting starter's reps all year and are suddenly going up against NFL defenses.

No knock on Zappe who has done a great job subbing in for Mac. He's come a long way from a Div. 2 school.
