Game Day Thread Official Game Day Thread- Dolphins @ Pats

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Disagree, but I guess zero is a single digit? Can I get a ruling here?

Edit: Damn you, @TommyBrady12

Regards,
Chris
Ah. That old argument between the Europeans and Indians. There is no zero in Roman numerals. The Indians invented the concept and number zero for math around 600 or so. The Arabs adopted it but Europeans rejected it for centuries. If God is in everything then zero cannot be with God.
European mathematicians eventually began using zero as a number during the Renaissance, as merchants had in secrecy for centuries.

So, anyway. Current mathematical thinking sees zero as a digit.

Rivers is disappointing. He showed great promise in the preseason, but sadly he’s looking like the next 2nd round bust for the Pats.

No 12 passing to No 10....never saw that coming

Way too early for that.

So..I'm changing my vote to PatJew's post.

I do not know my reaction at first reception from #10

But could be huge...

Personal view on the game today..

What I want to see is more stout defending in the interior of the DL. Similarly, I want to see improved run blocking on offense. If we get those two things we are on a good path to squeezing out a win.

I expect the Dolphins to do a lot of motions and attempting a KC-style offense. So some of the defensive drives might end up pretty ugly. But if we can win and see an improvement on both sides of the line I will not care about any of the other things too much.
