It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I just see it hard to justify when the draft is weak at TE, and the consensus for this particular player seems to be round 5 or 6. Impossible to know every team's board, but you could use that logic to justify any reach. I'm not taking the draft as seriously/angrily as others though, so hopefully it turns out well.As you know every teams board, can I have a look
Keene is one of @captain stone favorite TEs...I don't know if he'll like the fact that we drafted him in the third.
Is this a serious post? Cassel had Moss and Welker. A group of offensive talent responsible for taking us to 18-1. Our offensive group going into this year is the worst in 20 years. Absolutely ridiculous comparison.Matt Cassell took us to 11-5.
I mean if we can effectively run the football... that will change a lot.Right now, generically speaking, and unless Stidham is already veteran starter level, this is a 2-3 win offense, at best.
And BB preferred them to others who were available. Such as Trautman. It does. They were available

I would almost guarantee we pick somewhere in the 4th tomorrow.
The *****ing and moaning of some is insufferable today. The Pats just added a Safety (need), two Linebackers (need), and two Tight Ends (need). Outside of clear home run picks, all selections are speculative and right now, I'm damn happy Bill and Caserio see what we all see and subsequently, are addressing the damn needs.
Look, BB is not just after skills here, he is looking for certain mindset, those who can take hard coaching, mentally tough. I tend to see his picks from that lens and it makes it easier for me to stomach.Keene over Trautman and the Bryant’s? AND we traded up for him? This is a strange one. Would have preferred one of the WRs still on the board.

NO traded up to get there. I guess BB's picking two TEs spooked them into thinking there was a run on TE and they had to move up.And now NO drafts a TE. Did BB know something that convinced him to trade up?

David Andrews is back. Don’t forget that.
This was where the TEs tended to go in most of the mock draft simulations I did. The order of TEs going was different than what I was expecting, though. And now NO drafts a TE. Did BB know something that convinced him to trade up?
Yeah, it sucks because I actually do want to make that comparison. The best parts of Asiasi's game do resemble some of Gronk's strengths, and the best parts of Keene's game seem to be similar to Hernandez's (I didn't watch VT last year so I can't say). They're not in the same ballpark as athletic prospects, though, so in addition to feeling like kind of a lazy comparison it also feels misleadingly sensationalistic. So I avoided making at all because you'd have to attach like 5 disclaimers to it and people would still misinterpret it and straw-man the **** out of you. It’s a very very poor mans version but Asiasi-Keene will hopefully get utilised a little like Gronk-Hernandez.
