Correct and that makes total sense. The Eliot Wolf system implies/projects performance past their rookie deal for mid/late round picks.
Just seems too unrealistic and pie in the sky for players that have a 0-20% chance of seeing their 2nd NFL contract.
I don’t think it’s so much telling the players how they grade out and fit into the big picture, I think it’s more for accountability for the front office and scouts in terms of their evaluations, recommendations, and how their decisions go. But it could also be about a change in emphasis in terms of scouting each position, and what the are prioritizing. Hopefully players who will eat glass to win get really high scores. You need as many Steve Smith Sr.’s as you can get on your team,
