It's not that Jones or Thornton can't still be good players, but they have been trending down.

Two 4th rounders from the previous year is a lot to be cut.

We didn’t cut 2 4th rounders. And the one we did is likely to be back any way.

I agree, but Speed was not good as a DB at Georgia (didn't play much), so he transferred to Michigan State. He played DB at MSU and was not a good DB there. I think Speed is the new Slater, great on special teams but only used as an emergency other than that.

That's my worry. How many ST only guyz do you keep ? I doubt players like slater can continue to flourish in today's pass heavy offense and zero emphasis ST .

Thornton has been injured twice and looks like he's on IR again for pretty much the same reason, and jack Jones is playing likes he's about to be suspended.

Who said he is on IR? He missed a few days with a leg injury and hurt his shoulder and we gave no idea the severity. That doesn’t change his prospects.

I have no clue what you are referring to with Jones.

Have you seen this guy play CB . He is the faster version of Myles Bryant and cannot really tackle as well .

Totally, because that is Belichick’s M.O. He prioritizes, defensive backs who can’t tackle.

I pointed out they didn t cut 2 4th round picks and will probably get the one they did cut back.

With Stephenson we were set at RB depth with the 2 rooks drafted.
