NFL notified Buccaneers’ QB Tom Brady today that it is fining him $11,139 for kicking Grady Jarrett on the play in which the Falcons’ DL was penalized for unnecessary roughness, per source.
I think cause he has a history of that. Ed Reed comes to mindWas that even a kick? He completely misfired from close range if he was in fact trying to make contact.
Brady has a chance to come out of this weekend with the second most passing yards in the NFL.

At least the NFL continues to be consistently inconsistent in the way they dole out fines, suspensions, and penalties. So there's that.Kicking, whether kicking at someone with intent from your back or kicking to get someone off of you, is also more obvious than the usual push-punch stuff that happens, and it looks more hostile, even though it's usually the opposite of that.
Here’s final injury report for Bucs and Steelers. Pittsburgh will be without three starting defensive backs:
Dang, Pitt has literally all their starting secondary out
They should be able to. Any given Sunday thoughWith Watt also still on the shelf, this is definitely a game where the Bucs can really start to get the offense going.
It wasn't much of a kick. They had to go slowmo to see it and it barely grazed him. What's next, fines for shoving? There's no difference. At least the NFL continues to be consistently inconsistent in the way they dole out fines, suspensions, and penalties. So there's that.
Last week they said he was dealing with some PCL minor tear or something like thatJones doubtful again, with that knee. I'd really like to know what the hell is supposed to be wrong with it.
They want him healthy for later in the season,.. that's fine but I don't understand why they didn't put him on injury reserve.Jones doubtful again, with that knee. I'd really like to know what the hell is supposed to be wrong with it.

It's similar to Gronk last year. He basically told everyone how serious his injury was and reading between the lines he was saying he wouldn't be back for awhile. But Bucs didn't put him in injury reserve and brought him back too early.
Their rushing stats are really bad and I don't think that will improve much... it's not the focus or strength of their offense. Their passing game has looked much better over the past two weeks... having both Godwin and Evans in there obviously makes a big difference. I'm excited for the continued development of Rachaad White and Cade Otton, both have been efficient in the passing game and should be receiving more targets. Should be target practice for Brady with Pittsburgh's depleted secondary. With Watt also still on the shelf, this is definitely a game where the Bucs can really start to get the offense going.
Huh...
