Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Maybe I'll go if the tickets are cheap
If you're planning on asking Gisele, I suggest you pick a different event.

She can afford the tickets, but she definitely has Tommy fatigue.

The game not being sold out indicates how weak that fan base is.

Which makes TB12's decision to put football over family even more strange.

Maybe the Bucs could sell more tickets if they made it "family day" at the stadium; you know, to cheer Tom up.

The only time I went there was at the Big Sombrero way back before the new stadium was built. They gave away orange Buccaneers cheapo digital wristwatches. That's another idea they might try again -- fans could keep track of the play clock and yell when it's running out to prevent delay of game penalties. Or maybe use them to count down the minutes left in Brady's storied career.

...if you’re a professional athlete and you’re concerned with how many fans are in the stands then you SHOULD retire. You think a crazy alpha GOAT like Brady or Jordan or people on that level care who’s watching? All that matters is if they’re winning.

Besides, a thing called television exists. It’s relatively new I know might want to check it out.

Bucs elevate two rookie receivers from the practice squad in Kaylon Geiger and Deven Thompkins. Both available vs. Falcons on Sunday -- doesn't bode well for Russell Gage and Julio Jones, both listed as questionable.

Bucs elevate two WRs Kaylon Geiger, Deven Thompkins from Practice Squad. Good indicator that Julio Jones and/or Russell Gage could be inactive. Game time decisions most likely.

Was Gage known to be injury prone? This is just odd.

Gage has been disappointing even when supposedly healthy. I'm all set with Julio already. I'm excited to see what Deven Thompkins can contribute... he was lighting it up in camp. As long as Evans and Godwin are in there, the Bucs offense should roll against the Falcons.

Bunch of clowns talking about non sellouts ****ing embarrassing

Julio is out apparently.
Brady only has Evans, Godwin, Fournette then a bunch of rookies and benchwarmers to throw to. It's pretty thin at the top. I hope the top guys can play injury free.

That's all he needs. ATL has nobody to throw to

Beasley quit in a week where he'd have gotten to play...

Bucs' inactives: WR Julio Jones, WR Breshad Perriman, WR Deven Thompkins, QB Kyle Trask; plus injured TE Cam Brate, DL Akiem Hicks, S Logan Ryan.

So Bucs will have Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Russell Gage healthy today, but no Jones or Perriman. Also have Jaelon Darden, Scotty Miller, Kaylon Geiger active. Perriman had practiced this week, even on special teams, but is held out today.

Bucs rookie corner Zyon McCollum is active and will make his NFL debut today on special teams.

Too bad. This is the week we could have probably been able to grade Beasley to see if he still had it or not and how well he could do a Julian Edelman impersonation. I wanted to see if Brady could take him to the next level.
