Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

If I’m Bowles I’m at least encouraged that the defense locked the Packers down in the second half and held Golden Boy Enternal MVP to 14 total points.

The 69,197 at Raymond James Stadium for the Bucs-Packers game is the most in franchise history.

That and the offense moved ball fairly well when it wasn't fumbling it. Gage came back strong after the fumble and should be a good #3 WR when Evans/Jones come back next week.

Couldn’t be any more confident of a Bucs win next week vs KC. They’ll be healthier. Brady will do way more than enough and that defense can slow down any team.

Honestly don't know what's wrong with Scottie. He doesn't look too bad out there, but the outcome each game has been horrendous. Did he muff that flea flicker attempt or did a defender get a hand on it? I couldn't tell.

Gage was a bright spot today. He reminded me alot of Amendola.

Edit: just remembered. He had that costly fumble.

Logan Hall looks good that whole defense looks good they will be even better when Hicks comes back

They adjusted well after the first two Packers drives. Great sign since last year that short passing game killed them

Well the Packers having the head to head tie breaker is going to be a massive pain in the ass going forward. If Bucs win the records would be 3-0 vs 1-2 plus the head to head and would almost assure the Bucs get the higher seed.

Oh well
Packers need to win their division for that to matter.

the offense moved ball fairly well

2 for 11 on 3rd down
5.6 yards per pass
2.4 yards per rush
88% of the drives ended in a punt or TO
55% of their drives went 3 & out
Only 4 drives were they able to move the ball more than 20 yards
First time they got into the GB redzone there was 1:30 left in the game.
90 of their 250 yards came on the last drive when GB went into GTFB mode and was giving yards for time.

Nah that ain't it

If Tom's first name was Mac and Leftwich's last name was Patricia you wouldn't be saying "moved the ball fairly well"

but no Evans or Godwin
Alexander was ruled out of the game after the 1st series. So there goes that

I'm a bit shocked that a few think they'll win against KC who also just came off a loss. Anything is possible with the way the defense is playing but we'll see. The play calls and the run game will have to be better and so will TB12.

Perfect football Golden Boy inevitably set to win another MVP

Washed up old man who is just depressing to watch

Tom was throwing to (aside from Gage WR1):

Scotty Miller WR2: 8 career GS
Breshard Perriman WR3: 24 career GS ( in 8 years)
Jaelon Darden: 0 career GS
Cole Beasley: sitting on his couch a week ago.

None of these dudes would've even made most NFL rosters (incl. Cole who went unsigned until Bucs called out of desperation).

Next week he'll be throwing to:

Mike Evans WR1
Julio Jones WR2
Russell Gage WR3
Cole Beasley (w/ 10 days on the team)

Should have better production.

Yes for sure it should be much better but KC could also put up 30. I'm not saying it's a loss but I don't know if I'd pick TB. They can certainly win though.

Someone didn't watch the game only the stats by the looks of it.
Patricia is a clown by the way.

Why didn’t KC put up 30 yesterday then?
