Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Everything on paper favors the Bucs. As it did last season. The problem is that intangible bullsh.it is all over this matchup and I can’t pick a winner because of it.
I think the Bucs lose. I had this as a loss the beginning of the season and still do at least until they can prove they can beat the Saints I'll pick NO.

I think they lose and go for cheap shots too. I'll predict that TB wins the toss and takes the ball. If they drive the field and get some points they will win and if they go 3 and out and there's pressure everywhere, they won't be able to adjust.

Go with your in-the-gut feeling, like last week for me when I felt confident that Tyreek Hill would get more than 67.5 yards receiving, even with Tua throwing the ball.

Well my gut is to actually take the Bucs. For whatever reason the two regular season games in New Orleans have been the competitive ones while it’s the two in Tampa that have been complete debacles. So maybe they’ll actually win this one.

I still can't believe Brady won a SB with Bruce Arians as HC. The oldest QB and the oldest HC to win a SB together! Can't make that shyt up. They'll forever be tied together in the record books because that record will never be broken.

You people have psyched yourselves out over New Orleans. Tampa Bay will win.

What makes you say that? For whatever the reason the Saints D has the Bucs O #. I need to see it to believe it first.

It's a new season, new coaches, and Tampa has a better overall roster.

I'm picking the Bucs but I'm not expecting a particularly well played game from either team. The Bucs injuries sort of even up the matchup. I'm probably seeing Godwin's absence as more of a problem than most but they don't have another receiver to replicate his role. Lattimore usually handles Evans pretty well too. And we're talking about an o-line that is 4/5 different from last season at this point. Although Winston has played well enough in the Saints system, the Bucs still have a big advantage at quarterback, which to me is enough to favor the Bucs in the game. Bucs win 27-20.

Brady goes back to the 2015 offense handing the ball off repeatedly. NO wins.

Bucs are elevating receiver Kaylon Geiger and linebacker Kenny Young from the practice squad for Sunday’s game at the Saints. Help on special teams and WR depth if needed.

Everyone was waiting for this news! Thank God we won't lose sleep tonight wondering who will fill the breach on Buccaneers special teams and WR depth. Whew!
