Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

The fate of this thread depends on it.

Yes, when Brady officially retires the forum dedicated to following his Post Patriots career will be closed. Astute observation. Your problem is that Brady stuff will now be threads for the main forum as are threads for any other ex-Patriots.

Problem? No, I'll be relieved to finally retire as ombudsman of this godforsaken Buccaneers thread. Brady Pats stuff is fine. The guy you really need to worry about is Lord Dis Array with his looming identity crisis.

I thought Brady (Tonmy the K) had that position reserved for himself. Maybe that's why the two have created a joint club while on and off the field.

You don’t have to post in here you know.

Asked again about Ryan Jensen and a definitive answer on what his injury is, Todd Bowles says "I'm afraid we don't." As we've reported, he'll go on IR on Wednesday, with only a slight chance he could return this season, and if so, only late in the playoffs.

Leftwich still running on every first down with that passing game is hilarious will hold them back vs teams like NO

It's only pre-season. They've had so much success on offense the last 2 years that I don't see them changing a whole lot in the regular season anyway. As for NO specifically, they definitely need to change a lot. 1 playoff win, 3 blowout losses, 1 close loss.

Sounds as if Bowles will turn Godwin loose once he's cleared by trainers. "If he's healthy and he's 100% and they give me full green light, you've got to go. I think with an injury like that, you're never going to know until you get hit below the waist."

So the first five #Bucs WRs are Evans, Godwin, Jones, Gage, Johnson. No idea in which direction they go with final 1-2 guys. None of the candidates did squat last night, at WR or special teams, and Bowles essentially said as much today.

As a matter of prudence, #GoBucs coach Todd Bowles said the team will explore O-line options via trades and the waiver wire, but warned: "Nobody's going to give you a good football player."

Buccaneers center Robert Hainsey underwent X-rays for his ankle Sunday morning, and it is not regarded as a long-term injury, per league source, and there is optimism that he could be ready for the first game of the season.

True it’s just frustrating to watch countless 2nd and 8 for no reason

Miller didn’t do much to help his case in the last two games. If Bucs carry a seventh receiver, it’s him or one of the rookies. Hard to read right now.

Todd Bowles said Ryan Succop “probably” won the starting kicking job over Jose Borregales. He also said he “has a starter in mind” for the starting cornerback job opposite Carlton Davis but he needs to talk to the coaching staff first.

Todd Bowles on offensive line injuries: “There’s not a sense of urgency unless we lose the two that went down yesterday. But you have to have someone willing to give you a good football player. Nobody’s gonna give you a good football player. Nobody’s gonna feel sorry for you.”
