Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Robert Hainsey is down on the field, with trainers attending to him.

Hainsey gets up, tests his left leg and is walking off the field, but needing help to get to the sidelines.

It's Hainsey's right ankle that's wrapped -- he came up like he was testing his left leg, but it's the right one that was injured. Again, looks fine walking around and talking with teammates on sideline.

So @JennaLaineESPN pulled up the play where Hainsey got injured -- his right ankle was already taped before the play, so the injury is his left ankle, it just isn't taped at all now. Regardless, this doesn't seem serious.

So Bucs' rookie receivers haven't gotten any work at all on offense, with Geiger busiest on special teams. Scotty Miller has played but has minus-1 yards on two targets with a drop.

I wonder if seeing both Hainsey and Leveritt get nicked up tonight will result in Bucs taking a more determined approach to bringing in another interior lineman...

What’s Johnson doing dropping that pass

Video: Tom Brady says the Bucs have two weeks to get ready for a big challenge in Dallas in the opener.

Bowles said of Bucs' punt coverage that they've asked Jake Camarda to outkick coverage on purpose. "We wanted him to hit it far, because we were looking for gunners. During the season, obviously we'll gameplan things." Asked if any gunners showed him anything: "Not consistently."

Tom Brady, hopeful that Robert Hainsey and Nick Leverett aren't sidelined by injuries sustained tonight: "The amazing thing about football, it's a big challenge. You think you're really set, then all the sudden ... you've got to learn to adjust and have the right scheme."

Brady on Robert Hainsey's ankle injury: "Hopefully he can get over what happened tonight and be ready to go. That remains to be seen."

Tom Brady, asked about building chemistry with Julio Jones, namedropped 11 players and former teammates in his response: Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Antonio Brown, Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, Troy Brown, David Patten, Rob Gronkowski, Ben Watson.

TB looks like he about to have another great season.

Tom Brady, asked if he was able to address whatever needed to be addressed in his personal leave: "I'm ready to go."

Lol AB is a dumbest player of all time. Could easily still be playing if he wasn't stupid.

But he wasn't football stupid. He adapted to Brady and the Patriots well enough to be game ready, even if in a smaller play package, in what seemed like about 30 seconds.

Oops should've clarified. Yes he is a football genius but off the field the dumbest athlete of all time

I thought Brady (Tonmy the K) had that position reserved for himself. Maybe that's why the two have created a joint club while on and off the field.
