I’ve done a season by season rundown over which seasons were derailed by injuries here before. The true no doubters in my mind were 2012 and 2015. And you can add 2021 too.

Well 2007 and 2011 had one or two key injuries either in the Super Bowl or the game prior. Brady’s ankle and Stephen Neal in 2007 and Gronk in 2011. But they did get to the end of the game with a damn lead. So I am hesitant to count them on the same level as 2012 and especially 2015 when absolutely everything just gradually fell apart over half a season or more.

That’s just my feelings on it though.
