Andre Anthony, taken by Bucs in seventh round, is yet another LSU defender headed to Tampa. Limited by injury to three games last year, he had 3.5 sacks in just eight tackles. He's 6-3, 245, will compete for backup job at outside linebacker.

Our @dpbrugler had Bucs seventh-rounder Andre Anthony ranked as the 44th outside linebacker in this draft class, with the 42nd as the last one getting "priority free agent" grade.

Per his bio, #Bucs 7th-round draft pick Andre Anthony of LSU is 25, will be 26 in November. Six-year college player who earned his degree in August 2020. Played 35 career games with Tigers, including nine games with two starts in 2019 national title season.

Bucs are signing former Clemson safety Nolan Turner as an undrafted rookie free agent. Two-year captain with the Tigers, 259 tackles in his career, ran a 4.37 40 at combine. Over 700 special teams snaps in college as well.

Here's a third undrafted rookie receiver for the Bucs -- Kameron Brown had 605 yards and 5 TDs for Coastal Carolina last year. 6-2, 218.

Here's a seventh UDFA for Bucs, confirmed -- Dylan Cook is a 6-6, 309-pound offensive tackle from Montana.

A fourth undrafted rookie receiver signing with the Bucs, with even wilder stats. Western Kentucky's Jereth Sterns had 150 catches for 1,902 yards and 17 touchdowns last season. Only 5-9, but you don't get more productive than that ...

Coastal Carolina receiver Kameron Brown is just a tryout player at Bucs rookie minicamp, so they just have three WRs signed as UDFAs: Western Kentucky's Jereth Sterns, Texas Tech's Kaylon Geiger and Utah State's Deven Thompkins.

Here's an eighth UDFA signing for Bucs: Memphis linebacker J.J. Russell. First team all-AAC, led Tigers with 123 tackles last season. 6-0, 227 pounds.

Another UDFA signing for Bucs -- South Dakota State cornerback Don Gardner is signing. 6-1, 180, had two interceptions last season.

11th UDFA for Bucs is Ball State offensive lineman Curtis Blackwell. 6-5, 302, has played tackle but could be a guard with Bucs.

Going into the draft, they had one of the smallest roster signed. So they had a lot of open positions.

Not sure about the draft. I don't think it was one of Licht's best draft. Logan Hall seems like a great pick. The kicker was a reach by a couple rounds. Don't know about the rest. But it's always harder to evaluate teams who pick late.

NE to me was a bit of a head scratcher too . I was high on Devin Lloyd and some other players but they passed on them and picked a Strange guard that could have waited until the 2nd round and probably later.

The punter was strange unless they really need to extra cash to sign suh and gronk. Pinion didn't have the best season but he was ok. I'm more worried about defense and the fact that by the way they drafted makes me think they believe DB is not an issue. They will get lit up on defense again this season imo.
