Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

That doesn't say much for Garoppolo. Such an open display of vindictiveness while his teammates are getting humiliated. I'm not a fan of Garoppolo, I think he's a complete waste of time because he can't stay healthy and he's not a big game quarterback.
Belichick would like to have a word with you. According to Belichick, going from Brady to JG is seamless and he can make all the same throws.

Hmm JG might be the Pats 2023 starting QB. Lol.

He and the team quit after Johnson got hurt. Watching Purdy with no real pass attempts and a bunch of hopeless handouts was borderline shocking. They were a complete clown show. But I'm not firing Shanahan. The solution is Brady for two seasons.
Why would you fire a coach who got to the NFCCG with his 3rd string rookie QB?

Its kinda hard to blame the team for quitting after your 4th string QB gets hurt and you forced to go back to the 3rd string QB with a bum arm. At the point its pretty clears its not your year.

And they call BB a genius?

0-10 without Brady. Seems like a trend.

I don't know, that was elite quitting. For Christ's sake Purdy said after the game, "I could only throw 5-10 yard passes", which is as far as he typically throws it anyway. He was throwing on the sideline. In the game, nothing. All the big talk about this team being so great that it almost didn't matter who their quarterback was. Look I understand the circumstances were dire but that was a pathetic way to end your season. Brady to the rescue, they should be first in line for his services.

Kyle Shanahon just has no feel for how to coach a big game. It gets away from him.

Are the 49ers back on the radar for Brady now? I think so. A team that talented should not be relying on the likes of Lance, Garoppolo and Purdy. None of them are decidedly good enough. Brady makes that team better.
I'm curious. What are you going to do if Brady retires? Will you give up on the NFL?

Maybe Niners can trade Lance and Purdy for some additional players. I imagine they could get a big haul of players on rookie deals.

I know you're asking someone else but this is an easy answer for me. I'm gonna watch every week as usual and root against who I hate. So against Mahomes most of all, ESPECIALLY if he wins his 2nd ring now. Rodgers wherever he is. The Ravens because **** them. And I'll adjust accordingly for others.

Your hater energy exceeds mine. Respect

If he needs Tommy John how long does that keep a QB out?

Had to be our boy Craw. He'll absolutely do anything, incl. selling his soul to the devil, to make sure Brady plays in SF. Lol

I admit it was me…I told Satan injury is an option but I’d prefer a 9 INT meltdown. Just have to go with whatever the red man decides.

No. I'm not sure what you're getting at. I'm a Patriots season ticket holder so I follow the team closely. I don't care for Belichick, I think he's a tad overrated because the fact is he can't win without Brady, and I'm not a big fan of Mac Jones either because he's not that good. Doesn't mean I hate the team, I'm just being honest. Otherwise I follow the entire league closely. I want Brady to continue playing because I still think he can play at a high level and with the right team he can win a Super Bowl with a third team, which has never been done before. If he reties, well then I can appreciate he's had an amazing career which has to come to an end at some time.

Brock Purdy is Moonlight Graham
