Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

After last week's great showing and all those 4th quarter comeback, Brady should arguably ranked higher. Imo he should be around 5.

Rodgers being ranked higher than Brady is laughable. He has been a game manager all year long. A good game manager is usually around 13-15 ranking. His passing stats are the kind of stats running QBs have except he doesn't have the 500-1000 running yards.

You should write up a list of all people who have Rodgers rated above Brady right now. That way you'll have a list that absolutely tracks with a list of people who have no business rating quarterbacks and should be ignored on the subject moving forward.

I can’t wait for this offseason’s Rodgers soap opera.

Well most rankings are fantasy rankings which I absolutely don't follow and don't understand other than they're ranked by fantasy points (I think).

So there's just the NFL.com QB ranking, CBS, and a couple of others.

I wouldn't read too much on that. Rodgers always ranks higher than Brady on those.

Gotta admit though the Pats had an easy division for years also. The Bucs are in the playoffs now and anything can happen. They seemed to find their ryhthym again just in time. Some teams play better under pressure.
The AFCE being an easy division is a myth. The weakest division in the AFC since they went to 4 divisions has been the AFCS, the division that the NYFL created to give PEDton Manning a free ride to the playoffs.

And this season they're the worst in history. Their team rankings are 13-25-30-32.

It's a fantasy football ranking for week 18.

Wherever you can find season rankings, if Rodgers is ahead of Brady there, then that's a joke. Rodgers is doing very little during the Packers recent 4-game winning streak. Brady has been putting the team on his back and engineering dramatic fourth quarter comebacks.

Same story as always

Rodgers gets treated like a God
Rodgers is obviously a great (regular season) quarterback but Brady has 6 more rings than him. Based on some of the commentary heard nationally, you would think it was the other way around.

Rodgers is 1-4 in NFCCGs lol

Brady leads the NFL with 13 fourth quarter TDs. Rodgers has 5. Brady also has 50% more passing yards than Rodgers in the fourth quarter... Brady leads the NFL in that category too.

The media has invested a lot of time and effort into hyping Rodgers as one of the all-time absolute great among greats, despite him clearly not belonging at the level they claim. They're not going to stop now. We saw the same thing with Manning, who at least was the better QB of the two.

This is a bit skewed because if a team is up big in the 4th there’s less of a chance that the QB throws much.

Yup.

Packers and Bucs have had similar down seasons and all of the sudden people think the Packers can make a run but the Bucs are done.

It's not like the Packers have been winning a ton, or up a lot in the 4th Q this year. They're 8-8.
