Welp. Let’s just dedicate our 4th and 5ths to LB’s. The offense and secondary have been addressed. If we can at least address the LB’s, then DE will remain the one hole unaddressed on the roster. But appears the DE’s have now been picked pretty dry.

Mayock and the NFLN folks like Dawson. They believe that he is one the hardest working CB's in the draft. They expect him to be an instant starter as a nickel back (slot corner to some). There was a run a defensive backs, so Belichick couldn't wait.

It is good to have another corner signed for 2019 (a necessity for this draft). McCourty and Rowe will be UFA's. J Jones will be an RFA. [I don't really count C Jones, although I suppose it's possible that he'll be on the 2019 team].

Ballsy by BB IMO to test fate again with this group. My only serious complaint so far.

Very ballsy. Hightower is awesome but unfortunately has bad luck with injuries.

Perhaps a trade for a current NFL linebacker will occur sometime this off-season, or a notable one gets released.

Yes, Dawkins MIGHT be a backup safety.

SAFETY
It seems more likely one of last year's UDFA's or a pick tomorrow will displace Richards. What we can also hope for is that Richard is considered a STO player, even if he is labeled a safety.

Actually a good year for that if he wants to.

He had a bunch of other near picks throughout last year. I know there’s no greatness in almost, but he was all SEC dominant at times lining up in all DB positions.

I am biased, but he has all the tools, just doesn’t always play as fast. He’s almost a smaller version of DMac, in that he’s very fast and very physical but not a HoF type of player, but should be very consistent and reliable. Good attitude and hard worker despite playing on ****ty teams with crap offenses year after year.
