I really like the Dawson pick. He has a knack for finding the ball. Definitely knows how to make a strong tackle aswell. Seems like a smart player who knows how to work the angles in the slot. I believe he will be a huge asset this season.

I've seen a lot of DBs play at Florida over the years who went on to play on Sundays.

Duke Dawson can play in the NFL.

Last year, Teez Tabor and Quincy Wilson went around the same point in the draft, and Dawson is just as good as either of them, IMO.

Thomas hurts. Honestly though I think the off-the-ball safety position is just devalued nowadays, the guys who went in the 1st are really slot players or fast linebackers. Why take someone like Justin Reid with a high pick when you can pick up a proven, starting-level vet like Tre Boston or Eric Reid for nothing?
