I'd argue that backpedaling isn't momentum. That rule was for defenders who'd intercept the ball at full speed at the 3 yard line, and their momentum carries them into the end zone.

That should have either been a safety, or forward progress stopped at the 1 yard line. That was the wrong call. It wasn't "momentum". If he were on the 20, caught it over his shoulder at the 1 and took it into the end zone, that's "momentum".

I think for me it has alot to do with talking heads mentioning Rodgers as a possible GOAT. I mean what the hell, Brady has 4 f'king rings 6 super bowl appearances, a perfect regular season to his name not to mention 400 td's and we're throwing in Rodgers as a candidate for GOAT? Brady is the clear cut GOAT after winning the SB last year. It just annoys the crap out of me. I know alot of it is typical NFL Media Hype. Now, is Rodgers a top 10 qb of all time? Sure but let's not throw him ahead of Brady. Brady's too accomplished.

And against a prevent defense. Maybe they can take that moral victory back to KC with them, and compare notes with Buffalo.

I wonder if the GB forums gets as angry when they give up 14 points in the 4th quarter when up by 24 as some people on Patsfans do? :D

That simply isn't the rule, so it was the correct call. We can disagree with the rule but not the call.

See post above. Brady just came off a SB win when there was alot of GOAT praise and now tonight I'm hearing ESPN idiots saying that Rodgers is a possible GOAT? I don't want him throwing alot of TD's cause that just gives these idiots more ammunition.

Momentum is the judgement of the referee. It's a judgement call.

Brady Rodgers 19 TDs 0 Picks

    They are just silly.

Honestly as good as Brady has been Rodgers has been more impressive this year.

I don't say this due to the better stat line as much as how he has looked with Nelson who is so important to that offense. Almost as important as Gronk is to ours.

Belichick seemed pretty ticked off about losing that lead. He brought it up today on WEEI, to emphasize the need to play a full 60 minutes of football.

If it's enough of a concern to bother Belichick, then Pats fans have every right to feel the same way.
