I wish we had a guy like Deebo

Hey guys… I don’t think Jimmy G is very good.

49ers run way too many gimmicks.

watching deeboo here reminds me week 3 is over, we can activate Harry now! New weapons for the macattack!

Remember Tom Brady getting called for intentional grounding after chucking it into the end zone against the Seahawks in 2012.

Jimmy just did the same thing. No call.

LOL! Listen man, when the Bucs can score a whopping 17 points before garbage time by airing it out, who needs a running game.
They just scored 30+ points in a record number of consecutive games. Dumbass.
All you guys do is make excuses for the Bucs. One minute it is they don‘t need a running game because they are a passing team. And the next is they can’t run the ball when the other team scored four unanswered TDs and they had to throw.
Huh? I’ve been very critical of the Bucs. I’m sorry you embarrassed yourself my making a stupid point, while others were pointing to the actual problems with the Bucs. Excuses? What excuses? I’m stating their running game is the same as last year, and that you’re off-base. Way to reach for your favorite cop-out…but…but…but you root for BrADY!
The Bucs needed a running game today and they failed. They haven’t had a running game all year. Yes, it is a concern. They could fix the issue. But it is a concern.
I see you’ve been reduced to a pitiful defense now.
Why can’t you admit it If you want to do yahoo homerism for the Bucs, you should go to a Bucs message board.
Nice meltdown…make sure to wipe the spit off your monitor. I’m probably the last person who is a “Bucs homer” if you’ve read what I’ve written about their play calling, draft, and offseason strategy. They have flaws and should have done things differently.

I heard Adam Ottavino is also a great teammate and great guy

Did you expect to start YOUR season 1-2? It’s week 3, we have no idea what the Rams (and Bucs) loss ceiling is.

1-2? just about. I think we'll do 7-9 ish.

I mean, it's not a shocking prediction. It's what we did last year and it's BB's record without Brady (61-72).

So 7-9 is about right.

Psst! They ran the ball in a lot of those games last year. Again,

  • they had 145 yards and a TD on the ground in the Super Bowl.
  • Against, the Saints in the division round they ran for 127 and a TD.
  • Against Washington in the wild card round they ran for 142 yards and a TD.
  • Against Detroit, they ran it for 111 yards and a TD.
  • Earlier in the season last year where they scored 46 points against Carolina, they ran for 210 yards and two TDs.
  • When they scored 38 points vs the Rams last year, they had 111 yards on the ground.
  • In the first Carolina game when they scored 31 points, they rushed for 122 yards and 3 TDs.
They didn’t score all those 30 plus point games in the air last year. They had a more balanced attack.

And the running game isn’t the same. It may be the same personnel, but that doesn’t mean it is the same results. Ronald Jones had a career year last year in his third year in the league. He had more yards last year than his first two years combined. Last year could be the outlier and he played over his head. If you understood how the NFL works, you would know that a lot of players can have up and down years and not play the same year to year. And this isn’t like building a car where if you put the same exact parts together from one year to the next that you will get the same results.

Yes, I get that resorting to fact is pitiful for you. I get that.

Pathetic Pats fans here now literally acting like Jets and Bills fans have for years where because the home team is trash again they gotta shi.t on Brady to feel better. It’s honestly an amazing phenomenon.

When have I argued that runass balance isn’t ideal? When? Again: the circumstances of the the first three games, and the playcalling, has led to low running attempts and therefore totals.

That doesn’t mean the running game itself is any less capable. They have the same players as last year; they had roughly the same ypa as last year going into today. They played the #1 defense.

This isn’t complicated. You’re just a dishonest argumentative tool who is like Andy Jr. And your assessment of Ronald Jones further shows you look only at box scores and don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.

Why do they always assign Bogar’s crew to these prime time games? They’ve been terrible.

Alex Mack is terrible.

Remember him being the best in the game?

Boo birds out in pittsburgh. The more I watch this team the more dumbfounded I am they beat Buffalo, other than week 1 means crap

Complete fluke, any-given-sunday, type of crap.

Bills would stomp them if they played again.

They couldn’t run today and they couldn’t run against the Cowboys. They lost today and they were losing with a minute and a half left in the game vs. the Cowboys and were one of the two missed Cowboy field goals away from losing. Stop acting like in either of those games they didn’t need or couldn’t have used a running game.

And again, in the NFL having the same personnel from one year to the next never guarantees the same results. It isn’t how the NFL works. some players are not consistent and play great one year and sometimes for whatever reason don’t play nearly as well the next. It happens a lot with teams that have big success. Hence the dreaded Super Bowl hangover cliche.

And you are right it isn’t complicated. Yet you don’t seem to get it.

Slapping hands while running the route? Pass interference.

Helmet to helmet knocking receiver out cold? No call.
