NFL Week 2 Games Thread: Thursday Night, Bears at Packers

Who is calling these plays? The Bears o-line hasn't been half as bad as it looks; every pass play is a seven-step dropback with receivers running 20 yards before turning around!!! This is a remarkable display of stupidity on behalf of the Bears. Who is their offensive coordinator? It's like they came in with a gameplan to throw deep on every play and decided not to adjust.

On top of that, Cutler is and has always been one of the worst QBs in the NFL.

can't wait to watch this game on gamepass later and laugh at cutler

Cutler just doesn't understand that he needs to get rid of the damn ball. :bricks:

O ya, and whoever said Mike Martz is an offensive genius, well :bricks::bricks:. He has Marshall run the same 3 routes the entire game. As somebody w/ Marshall and Forte on my fantasy team this has been incredibly frustrating.

Mike Martz is not with the Bears this year. Mike Tice is the O.C. for the Bears now.

Cutler seems to think it's acceptable to hold the ball for 4 plus seconds every time he touches it. He has not been decisive at all.

Mike Tice scalped the O.C. job to Martz for tonight's game.

169 total yds by the Bears offense. I think the Colts are just bad.

It's always a fun to watch a dbag QB throw a bunch of INT's, had me lmao. tnx for the entertainment Jay.

I really don't think the NFC is winning the SB this year..just a feeling right now..

The commentators are ball washing Cutler tonight. Not all of the issues have been OL issues. Cutler holds on to the ball far too long and is indecisive. This isn't any different to Denver Cutler either.

Yeah right, they were ball washing Rodgers and Cutler's offensive line is absolutely brutal.

If you don't mind, could you re-write that so I can understand what point it is you're trying to make. If it's that Cutler and Rodgers have horrible OL's I would somewhat agree. The fact is, both DL's dominated tonight but Cutler is an idiot when it comes to decision making.

its funny how the bears fans are blaming the o line, if your qb holds the ball for 4-5 seconds for sure he is going to get sacked, Brady,Manning and the likes throw the ball in less than 2.5 seconds.

To be honest, neither Green Bay, nor Chicago's offenses scare me. Both looked pretty poor tonight.

As to who will beat who, I usually don't make such predictions until after week 6 or 7 when things tend to shake out a bit. Until then, most of the teams are dancing around, trying to determine their identity, and see where everyone else is headed.

Don't rule out Detroit. With AP back to his All Day status, the Vikings could create a headache or two in the NFC North. That division could be an interesting battle of attrition.
