While I hear what’s you are saying, it’s my view that Stork stabilized the OL after becoming the starter and Mitchell was instrumental as a weapon in key spots of an unlikely comeback. They played, IMO, important roles that greatly impacted the playoff success.

Mitchell has 32 regular season catches for his entire career. He has 7 catches in 2 playoff games. Calling that a good pick based upon those numbers is the sort of stretch that only Plasticman should be trying.

Stork and Mitchell helped this team win a SB. That makes them good picks. You could make a strong argument NE doesn’t win that SB w/o Mitchell.

You like the regular season. I am saying that any player that greatly contributes to a SB is a good pick, because ultimately I only care about SBs. If you think Mitchell doesn't make a difference in that SB game, then we need to agree to disagree.
