NFL Playoffs: Detroit Lions at Dallas Cowboys - odds, stats, preview and prediction

Green bum vs Dallas classic game. Can either team beat the sea bums?

Lions offense stalled in the 2nd, that's what killed them, not a 50-50 call.

You waiting for Troy Aikman to say the Cowboys got a cheap victory on a bogus non-call by the refs?

What an excellent point.

I just have this weird feeling that I want the team who deserves to win to win, and the game not decided by the refs! I am out of touch with the NFL!

That Pass Interference was iffy but that is the kind of play that is supposed to be called less in the playoffs unless it's blatant. Should they have called it? Probably but there wasn't any blatant contact. There was hands to the face by the receiver before the ball even got there. The only reason they should have called it is because he didn't get his body turned around.
I have no interest in who wins but that was text book pass interference. reminds me of the Carolina game where the safty wraped his arms around Gronk .Ref threw flag than changed his mind terrible

Lions got hosed big tine. The PI was an easy call, i've never seen that kind of call get overturned like that. And then a few ticky tacky calls on the Lions.

The call wasn't an isolated incident. It was the beginning of a ref-fueled onslaught.

Dunbar hold was legit. Happened right in front of the ref. Can't throw up all over yourself offensively for an entire 2nd half and get a win in the playoffs.

Don't know how on earth they pick up that flag, that was very poor officiating, very poor. No problem with the Cowboys winning, glad for Romo, but come on man....Detroit SHOULD be pissed...

They should have stood with what they called on the field because it wasn't conclusive. I'm just saying the contact itself was negligible.

In the beginning you could enjoy your favorite team play an NFL game

Then came worrying about whether your team suffered any serious injuries

Now your team needs to worry about which referreeing crew your team draws.

Why was Dez Bryant not flagged for running out almost to the numbers to argue the PI call?

Detroit got beaten in the second half. The Cowboys gave them the game and they could drive down the field and score. The Pats blew this team out. No way did they deserve to advance,

That was the point I was trying to make. Had they called that pass interference AND didn't pick up the flag against the Patriots, people here would be screaming bloody murder.
except that was pass interference so I might be screaming at Ryan , Dennard etcbut not refs

Suh got 2 sacks near the redzone that forced the Cowboys to take a field goal instead of a TD that could have changed the game. Cowboys got hosed as well due to Suh being in the game when he shouldn't have been.

This is the issue. It is very easy to say 'screw Detroit, they are dirty anyway' but tomorrow this could be us. I have empathy for any team who is out of the play offs because of the refs. I had the same feeling for SF against Seattle least year.

There were a lot of these. Lol
