Good thing the Pats didn't play the Lions this year. The Cowboys have a great o-line and the Lions are absolutely decimating it. Imagine if the Pats' horrible o-line had to go up against the Lions' d-line? Brady would get killed.
Oh wait. The Pats played the Lions? And the Pats' o-line kept Brady relatively clean all game? How could that happen? Aren't people predicting that Brady will be sacked 30 times next Saturday?
I'll give either him or his agent credit. Since he left he's made sure to sign with teams with great DLs - knowing that great DLs hide DB flaws as a DB is pretty damn smart.
I hope the Patriots coaches watch this game and empahise to the team how different the refs call holding during the playoffs. The Lions are getting away with mugging the Cowboys defenders, all the while with the announcers talking about how great the Lions are blocking.
And it was the last game the OL was 100% healthy. Yet all we hear is how Dallas has hands down the best line in football and they are getting their sh*t pushed in right now.
The Cowboys' OL is very, very, good, but they struggled against the blitz in their loss to Washington earlier this season. It's a young line, and they didn't do well picking up pressure coming from different directions.
One thing about this weekend...if you have a good offensive line, you are in good shape...I am thinking about our O-Line next week, we need a good 60 minutes out of them boys ..
