Here's a look at the NFL Playoff Scenarios. I didn't include games ending in ties just to avoid giving myself a migraine.

AFC

#1 seed is Tennessee
#2 seed is Pittsburgh
#4 seed is winner of next week's Denver/San Diego game
#5 seed is Indianapolis

Miami wins the AFC East/#3 seed with a win
Pats win the AFC East/#3 seed with a win, and a loss by Miami
Jets win the AFC East/#3 seed with a win, and a loss by the Pats

Ravens are #6 with a win, or a loss by the Pats
Pats are #6 with a win, a win by Miami, and loss by Baltimore
Jets are #6 with a win, a Pats win, and a loss by Baltimore

NFC

#1 seed is the Giants
#4 seed is Arizona
Atlanta and Carolina are in the playoffs.

Atlanta is #2 with a win, and a loss by Carolina
Carolina is #2 with either a win, or a loss by Atlanta

Minnesota is #3 with a win, or at least one loss by Chicago
Chicago is #3 with two wins, and a loss by Minnesota

Atlanta is #5 unless either (a) Atlanta wins and Carolina loses, or (b) Atlanta loses and Dallas wins
Carolina is #5 with a loss, and a win by Atlanta
Dallas is #5 with a win, and a loss by Atlanta

Atlanta is #6 with a loss, and a win by Dallas
Dallas is #6 with a win, and a win by Atlanta
Philadelphia is #6 with a win, and a loss by Tampa Bay
Tampa Bay is #6 with a win, and a loss by Dallas
