Rather have Reuben Randle
Agree, I would take Randle over Sanu as well.

Winning breeds a certain level of egoism wherein fans begin to believe that the Patriots are so invincible that they don't even need talented players to win, that they can just plug-and-play any warm body into a position, and the cheaper the better. Moreover, there's a tendency to assume that most of their draft picks are going to emerge as stars, rather than fade out of the league which is the statistical probability even for the most successful drafting teams. This tendency begins in March and won't end until training camp, and it happens every single year.
I hope notWe will have to sign Andre Toast Johnson, to be honest, can't be worse than Lafell was last year. Anyway the mindset should be that he is coming (if they do make this signing) to be the 4th WR in the depth chart.
What's the word on Reuben Randle? He's got the build you want but has really never looked the part in NY.
our wr scouts need fired
LolThey need fire or need to be fired?
Or both?

Agree with you about 2014, but:In 2014
"According to PFF, Sanu led the league in drops with 14 passes clanging off of his hands. In fact, 20% of all of the “catchable” passes thrown in his direction ended up as drops, and that’s a grotesque total that tied him with Tennessee Titans renowned drop-artist (and deep threat) Justin Hunter. Even Torrey Smith and Kelvin Benjamin, who are both better at stretching the field than Sanu, had lower drop rates than the Bengals third-year breakout man."

I have a feeling that was BB just saying Im going to prove im a scouting geniusNot sure, but if the WR scouts need to (be) fired, then whoever sold Bill on Tavon Wilson as a second rounder needs to be executed. And publicly for that matter.
You do realize people had the same feelings about LaFell when the Pats signed him. He was not very good in Carolina.
Agree with you about 2014, but:
But the receiver with the best hands in 2015 was Mohamed Sanu, who reeled in 33 of 49 passes without dropping a single ball. Sanu was somewhat known for his drops in 2014, so this was a big improvement for the fourth year player
Bengals drop rates in 2015
That was 2014. I wonder if LaFell and Sanu are the same but different. I'm not a big Sanu fan but he may be our best option eventually. Wallace can stretch the field so if he comes cheap.....
Scares me to get less than Lafell and pay more for itYeah I'm aware. He bounced back in a contract year. But if we sign him, we have to wonder which Sanu will show up. Especially in a new, complicated offense where he might be thinking about his routes too much as he catches passes from a new QB.
In the case of AZ it makes sense. They have a still viable Fitz, John Brown , Jaron Brown who could start on many Teams (???? 6'2 "and 205lbs). JJ Nelson and Jaxson Shipley who they are very high on.Again, this is just magical thinking. Why would any team trade their elite, affordable wide receiver talent to the Patriots?
