Guess we won't even be getting a crack at CJ.

Lankford emerged because the Bears were moving on from Forte.......the Bears had no interest in signing him, guess it's convenient for him to say he doesn't want to stay since he was already gone in their minds

Matt Forte, with eye on future, open to sharing load with Jeremy Langford

Langford emerged once Forte suffered a sprained MCL, then the two split carries when Forte returned, because Langford played pretty well in Forte's absence.

Prior to the knee injury, Forte was getting his usual 20 plus touches per game.

Streater hasn't played in 2 years? What is his deal?

Anderson signed Phins offer sheet

Lankford emerged, because Forte got injured.
Lankford games 1-6 15 carries 2.5/game
Lankford games 7-10 53 carries 13.3/game(Forte hurt in game 7)
Lankford games 11-16 58 carries 9.7/game (Forte returned game 11) Forte had 82

Pretty obvious that Lankford emerged because Forte was injured.

I'm going to be pissed when Streater leaves on a plane to NY.

true, but we should try to address a need in FA..maybe the o-line/WR too late now, all of the good lineman are gone. doubt we draft one.

Theres productive WR out there. People just want the big name.

Ive laughed at the contracts that have been signed til now. Shows you just how pathetic some teams are in this league. Namely the Dolphins and the Giants.

So, from what I can surmise, he played really well in his first two years in the league. Then in his third year, he had a ton of injuries that basically derailed his season. In his fourth year there was a coaching change, and the new crew drafted Amari Cooper in the first round and also signed Michael Crabtree, bumping Streater way down the depth chart. Andre Holmes was the third receiver. He still could've been the fourth receiver but I guess he wasn't fully healed yet and another receiver, Seth Roberts, took advantage and passed him on the depth chart. Since that made Streater the fifth receiver, he was a gameday inactive.

We are on the same page if you think of it. It would just make things smoother with less traffic around the area we make our bones at. No stacked boxes is all I stress, receiver doesn't have to be Moss he just needs some wheels and the ability to snag a big one here and there. Nothing more or less
You do realize that if we send Aaron Dobson, or Danny Amendola, or Keyshawn Martin, or anyone else deep, the defense does cover them right?
