I can't imagine a talent like that gets past the early second round if teams feel reasonably sure that he didn't do it or gets drafted at all if they think he did.

Is this a set up or what? I know that being said is not PC but

Several teams are already calling him. I doubt he lasts until the Pats pick unless a trade comes. That said, this is another example in a line of them of why you can no longer automatically take a woman's word when it comes to rape, if the surveillance video footage and what's being reported is actually correct. What a shame. Women like that ruin it for women that actually HAVE been sexually assaulted.

I wouldn't mind the Pats pulling the Trigger on CB Sidney Jones in the Third he's recovering from ACL Surgery Butler's replacement in 2018. We could IR for the year he wouldn't count against our Roster Redshirt year for him.

I thought Jones' injury was an Achilles injury.

That is a bit more worrisome, but the word I've heard is that he may not miss the whole season.

First, a women in the United States is raped every 2 minutes

Having a couple cases a year be proven as false....and then using that as a way to diminish the problem in the US is kind of irresponsible. I don't know if that was your goal, but that is how it came across to me. Rape is a very serious problem in our country and for the most part you CAN automatically take a women's word. Sure, it is important to investigate to be sure, but your first reaction should be to take her at her word, because the statistics say she is telling the truth.

Second, do you really want to draft a guy who asked a chick in the elevator if she wanted to have a foursome?

Third, if yes, welcome to NE...but he won't drop that far.

You're right Achilles/ACL what's the difference?? I think that would be a good option for us to have if what you said is true we have the option to activate him of shut him down late season.

I didn't say it wasn't a serious problem. I only said that it is no longer automatic. For instance, how many other cases out there do you think ended up with the man accused being in jail because the same exact thing happened (they hooked up, then he got accused of rape) and there wasn't a surveillance tape, witnesses or someone/something along those lines around to set the record straight? Whether the cases are a couple or in the hundreds, each case should be judged on its own merits and the concept of innocent until proven guilty still applies here.

Haynesworth and Corey Dillon both played for the Patriots.

Third, if yes, welcome to NE...but he won't drop that far.

Agreed here.

I'll just say, don't sleep with a girl unless you know her well enough that she will not accuse you of rape.

kinda of sucks not to have a pick to make tonight. I know we've got cooks, but couldn't we have him and 32 tonight.
signed.
spoilt bastard fan

That's fine for you but not everyone thinks that way. Those people don't deserve to be accused of something they didn't do just because they thought with wrong part of their bodies. Anyway, I'm done from here. Not trying to de-rail the thread.

Also don't eat food till you have someone else taste it first because it might be poison.

Poor analogy. You don't need to have sex with a women. You do need to eat.

Lastly, the number of women who falsely accuse of rape is so insignificant that you probably are more likely to get struck by a meteor.
