NE after QB McCarron? EDIT: Signed w BUF

I am really getting sick of Bill picking up the phone, talking to Saban, and signing guys like this. There isn't a Rutgers guy we can sign, an athletic kicker maybe, and then maybe coach him up to be QB2?

BB is stuck in a rut. Relying on "his guys" far too much. Where's our scouting dept?

I'm very frustrated. I knew Butler was gone, Lewis and Playoff Danny were gone. I thought they'd sign Solder. I don't know what the hell he's doing in Foxboro. AJ Freakin McCarron. Who the hell cares.

It's his way of trolling Tommy for driving out Jimmy. It won't end until TB retires i'm sad to say.

Zolak is absolutely adamant that the Pats are not in on AJ per a source he trusts above any other one.

I trust Zo infinitely more than Kirk Mini-me. But I do like the idea of McCarron as Brady's back-up while a rookie develops. I thought they were going to sign Bradford or Bridgewater to be the backup, but they are already gone to the Cardinals and the Jets respectively.

Huh, I suppose that’s a good thing.

Bradford got 20m for the year. Bridgewater got 15m for the year. Those are at the very least, low end starter’s salaries.

Just to compare, Brian Hoyer has a cap hit of 915,000 for the upcoming season. I don’t think we’d spend more than a couple million at best.

What? How did that become a choice during the legal tampering phase of free agency?

Their salary hit will be similar. McCarron may even cost more in the end... in fact, I'd be surprised if he didn't. It doesn't matter since neither is going to be a Patriot.

Doesn’t make sense for McCaron either.

As expected, he signed with the Bills.

I wonder if the Jills are still planning on trading up in the first round for a quarterback...

Great. The damn Bills beat us out on another FA!

We’ve had to edit a lot of speculation thread titles the last few days.

So Kirk Minihane was full of crap? Surprising....

My guess is his agent leaked the false report that the Patriots had interest in an attempt to get the Bills to sweeten the pot.

Thank god, this dude is garbage
