Why? A shut down defense isn't required to win championships. We defeated them with an excellent offense and a solid defense. We didn't need an elite shut down defense.

Coming back to that Fake screen they ran (against an over-aggressive defense). I hope McDaniels is putting something like that together. I could see a Gronk/LaFell fake blocking and releasing with JE11 running the screen (or Lewis).

I can't understand the people who say Wilson is a system QB or whatever. He is asked to do more for that offense than all but a couple NFL QBs. Their entire passing game can be summed up as "block for the 1 second that our linemen are capable of holding up, then watch Wilson avoid pressure and make plays on the fly either with his legs or to JAG receivers."
