Meaning no Super Bowl while existing players get older and need to be replaced.I did that deal.
If you are speculating you will be pickling in the mid 20s or later 20s the next 2 years.

I'll do that tooTrade the 2026 2nd for McLaurin.
Then, get the champagne ready.
We're not exactly the smart ones in the room right now but add Micah to this team and we'd be in the playoffs. The future and not looking like an idiot would still be on Maye's shoulders but at least we'd be proactive instead of retroactive and we'd be ready for it when he's ready.Because Diggs and Milton cost nothing and they're on reasonable deals.
Parsons cost 1st, 1st and 3rd, Is rumored to be looking for a 5 year contract in the 35 mil per season range.
This is NY Jets type stupid. The Pats would go from being smart to idiots in 1 trade.
No we wouldn't. The Pats primary issue the last 5 years have been offense. We've had a dip in defense last year, but the reality is that we've had incredible defenses over the last 5 years and our offense let them down. We're not exactly the smart ones in the room right now but add Micah to this team and we'd be in the playoffs. Would be team suicide. Three first round picks, god no.
I think Jerrah is going to make it clear that Parsons won’t become available, and if he ever does he will demand 3 first round picks. And when you look at trades for similar talent two firsts is the minimum, and it usually takes more than that. If they could get Parsons for a first and players, other than Maye and Gonzalez, I would do it in a heartbeat, because they can afford the contract, I just believe the trade price will be outrageous.
That's where Maye comes in.No we wouldn't. The Pats primary issue the last 5 years have been offense. We've had a dip in defense last year, but the reality is that we've had incredible defenses over the last 5 years and our offense let them down.
Even this year we are essentially betting the farm that Diggs and Campbell both work out so we aren't watching Maye get killed again while having nobody to throw to. And from there we have to hope that Maye can take the next step. Until we actually see that materialize, we can't even say we have a competent offense.
No. Shot.Pats receive:
Micah Parsons
Cowboys' 2026 second round pick
Cowboys' 2026 fifth round pick
Cowboys receive:
Patriots' 2026 first round pick
Patriots' 2026 third round pick
Patriots' 2027 first round pick
Patriots' 2027 fourth round pick
I'd do something like this.
He’s 26 though, in 5 years he’s just leaving his prime and you got your money’s worthNo. Shot.
1) EDGE isn't that big of a need.
2) If it ends up being a need, draft someone in the first round next year.
There is no way I'm giving up 2 first round picks and 5/200 for a guy who is probably going to peak this year and next.
Go check out EDGE players over the last decade who are still worth their money after age 30. It's a short list. Judon is on it.
By the time Maye's extension kicks in, he'll be 30, and on the books for closer to 50 mil per. He’s 26 though, in 5 years he’s just leaving his prime and you got your money’s worth
Jerry's not getting 3 picks. End of Story.. He's going to be lucky to get 1.. Parson's already said his Goodbye's the to fans. Yeah, Jerrah can control him for another year with the Franchise tag, but then it becomes detrimental to the Cowboys financially.
The best Jerry's going to get is a Pick and players.

A 2 first-round pick trade for someone like Parsons, is if he's the singular missing piece on a contender. I don't think the Patriots pass rush will be near bad enough to justify first round picks being burned the next two years on a team that's not in contention yet.
It's not like WR, where there's a glaring hole.
After the draft we had this year, why would anyone entertain idea of doing away with 2 first round picks . You do that , when you are guaranteed of playoffs and our first round pick is around 25-32. More likely than not our pick next years would be averaging around 12-18.
Just get game changers on rookie contracts . We need to pay maye and gonzo. Save for that .
Great player yes. But really do we need him THAT much that we loose 2 first rounders and multiple other picks. Sorry I just don't see it, we are re building and need all of our picks thank you very much..He’s 26 though, in 5 years he’s just leaving his prime and you got your money’s worth
