Didn’t you leave? Lol, jk. Glad to see you’re still here!Belichick is better!
I'm pretty sure you're still a fan of both Bill and Brady. Ian told me to block anyone I thought was suspect.Didn’t you leave? Lol, jk. Glad to see you’re still here!
Honestly, I can't believe what he's done with Caleb Williams. I had written him off, and Johnson has made him a viable NFL QB to this point. Obviously, time will tell, but Johnson's done a tremendous job so far in Chicago and will likely be in the mix.Ben Johnson will get many votes. He has turned the QB, and team around. He is also doing it in a very tough division.
However, games remaining include: Eagles, Packersx2, Lions, and 49ers. That will probably determine where he finishes.
Friday will be a tough game for them. That should be a very interesting measuring stick. For both teams.Honestly, I can't believe what he's done with Caleb Williams. I don't know much about Johnson except that he was in Detroit and is now turning the Bears around. Seems like a good hire and probably would have been great for Drake, if we had hired him. That said, the thing I like best about Vrabel's hire is the coaches he brought with him. McDaniels, Stretch, Cowden, Marrone, the WR coach, and the D coaches. So I think Vrabel's been the better hire for the whole team.A fun what-if: the Patriots pick Ben Johnson as their HC over Vrabel.
I think the Pats lose out on that no matter how good Johnson would be here. Vrabel is great and he would really be an asset for any team that needs a coach. Only way that's a wash is if Vrabel goes to Chicago and I couldn't see that happening.
And Mayo had absolutely no connections around the league like that. That's the difference and I think the Pats never had a chance with him.I don't know much about Johnson except that he was in Detroit and is now turning the Bears around. Exactly. I give Kraft so much credit for knowing when to cut that cord and make a better hire. That's a really hard decision for a leader to make, to admit they were wrong and to fire someone they are obviously very, very friendly with. But that decision has laid the foundation for what should be a good run.And Mayo had absolutely no connections around the league like that. I don’t think the Pats would be as good on either side of the ball.A fun what-if: the Patriots pick Ben Johnson as their HC over Vrabel.

I think he liked being seen as being in charge. I think we’ve all seen these people in other walks of life who somehow got promoted to being in charge and have absolutely no idea how to do the job and, worse, don’t know that they don’t know it. I think he still thinks that he was done wrong.Tbh I'm not even sure if Mayo liked being a head coach.
The impression I got was he liked the prestige of being a head coach but not the responsibilities that came with it. He was in over his head.Tbh I'm not even sure if Mayo liked being a head coach.
