Direct your boiling and anger where it belongs..I love how other fans refuse to see that the starting corner for the entire season could have been put in for the 2nd half (or even the 4th quarter) to change things up (or more accurately, revert to the defense that got them to the Super Bowl) and (possibly) win the game, whether he was "ready to play the game," whatever that means, on opening kickoff or not. Your blind allegiance to BB, no matter what was happening on the field (can we agree that it was a disaster?), makes this argument so weak and nonsensical that it makes my blood boil every time I read it.
BB knew he was in la-la land and Malcolm confirmed it.
Butler went on to take the blame, saying he probably was not "locked in and focused 100 percent".
“I wasn’t feeling too well," he said. "I felt like that was kind of part of it. Not to blame anybody. I accept full responsibly for myself. I am not blaming the New England Patriots or no one. It could have been just me, you know. It could have been anything, but I was not feeling too well and the New England Patriots are all about doing their job and they want everybody locked in and focused 100 percent and that probably was not the case. I am glad to be a Tennessee Titan.”
Butler: Wasn't 'locked in and focused' for Super Bowl
