Mac Jones Says Patriots Offense Was Run by 3 People and nobody knew who was in charge

Rachel Maddow called him her "secret boyfriend." I assume she was still in the closet. Nobody make it political. That's just how she felt about Herrnandez, before the murder thing.
Aaron was without a doubt gay and hated himself for it.

Another trait of a person in a cult of personality. Claim underserved victories and walk away from the argument. If this was one of social medias, you probably would have blocked me too.
I’m walking away from a fanboy. Bradystans aren’t rational honest people.

This may be some urban legend as I don't know how it would go unnoticed unless he was jerking under a table for a few seconds to get players reactions. But the theme here is that he's attached to many weird stories.

Matt Light has asked the same question. He mentions for whatever reason, Hernandez got away with stuff.

"I would say that it's really safe to say that Hernandez was given a longer leash to kind of do it his way than most players."

Welker also found out very early on:

"In an anecdote near the bottom of a longer report, it was mentioned that Hernandez was at the team facility trying to watch film, when he grew frustrated at not being able to operate the equipment. Wide receiver Wes Welker walked by, Hernandez asked for help, and Welker replied: “Rookie, you figure it out.”

"According to Shalise Manza Young, Hernandez’s reply was “f--- you Wes, I’ll f--- you up!”

Welker warns Lloyd regarding Hernandez:

"I just want to warn you that (Hernandez) is going to talk about being bathed by his mother. He's going to have his genitalia out in front of you while you're sitting on your stool. He's going to talk about gay sex. Just do your best to ignore it. Even walk away."

"Former Patriots linebacker Dane Fletcher, who like Hernandez was a rookie with the team in 2010, said he and Hernandez had a volatile relationship from the start, exchanging both insults and punches."

This is a guy you cut the first week of training camp. This explains why BB continually passed on talented players because of how much a pain in the ass they can be. Hernandez is the final boss of these types of players.

I had known of the incident with Welker in the film room; but I had not known of a couple of these other ones...

In retrospect, Bill didn't do Hernandez or his team any favors by giving him such a long leash... That ****ing psycho should've had a private eye tailing him 24/7... And that uncharacteristically early contract extension, what the **** was that?!?

Wow. One of those demonyms that also works as a country name.

Bradystans are the inhabitants of the nation of Bradystan.*

*The former Wes Bradystan is now known as BanglaWes

Again, it was never Bill's MO to draft a raw high upside QB like Maye and make him the franchise QB. He's never done that so why would he start now? He passed on Lamar Jackson and picked Michel instead. He didn't even like Josh Allen at the start of his career and he was the same profile so he wouldn't have drafted him either if he had a chance.

And at his age and the time he had left in the NFL he wants a polished win now QB prospect to help him and his team win now- that's why he picked the "safe" Mac Jones instead of trading up for Fields or Lance. Nothing wrong with that thinking and it's understandable (other than in hindsight he if he was going to trade up for anyone it should have been Micah Parsons and I think Jones would have still been there when the Pats picked next) - too bad Cork didn't work out in NE.

The dysfunction was leaking during the late Brady years, but they couldn't hide it after he left. Bourne called out and embarrassed Patricia which led to him mysteriously being erased from the offense. BB tired his hardest to get fired starting in the 2022 offseason and got his wish after 2023.

Jones also confirmed some wild Aaron Hernandez stories he heard from people in the building including Bill O'Brien such as:

He was found working out in the weight room naked.
He would jerk off during team meetings.
He wrote on a white board 100 times "throw Hernandez the ball".

Agree on the dysfunction.
But, I think it's better to leave Aaron Hernandez stories out of stuff in general. There's enough evidence out there that he was a sick guy. If your point is that management enabled his behavior by not disciplining him, it's pretty hard to confront mental illness in the workplace when it's someone in the mail room let alone a famous athlete with a $40,000,000 contract and $16,000,000 guaranteed. The Pats only had two choices: release him and eat the contract or work around his problems. They chose the latter and it didn't work out well for anybody.
