Mac Jones Injury Video [UPDATE - X-Rays were negative]

Mac has already showed that he is not fragile or weak. No one has doubted his toughness in the locker room and it is likely that he finished last year and started this year in Mia with undisclosed injuries. We know that Mac is an emotional guy, which is different. BB had to make him go to the locker room out of camera view after a loss last year. If he was not physically tough he would have laid on the field in a pool of tears after the ankle sprain instead of limping off on his own. If his teammates think he is tough, that is good enough for me. I have learned through my kids that equating tears with being a wimp is boomer mentality.

Regardless there is no way his is playing with any effectiveness on Sunday.

Hard to judge . An injury that turns out to be minor can still be extremely painful. Quick example barmore’s injury last year in week 18. The way he was screaming reporters initially were convinced his season was done. He ended up playing the following week, just not very effectively. But its not always as major as it seems initially.
I had a low ankle sprain and was in great pain. Heard the crunch and crawled to a chair to sit.
The initial surge of pain makes you scream just like Barnmore and Mac .
Saying that I have a pretty high tolerance to pain.
The Internet tough guys on this site probably still live at home with their parents

Belichick should of had this playing in the background of the press conference

It is his non plant ankle. I’d think if it was his plant leg, it’d be pretty much impossible to give it a go.
Yes, but would he step into his throws?

I have had severe sprains, to where my foot turned black, and I was not carried screaming like that. Either he has zero pain tolerance or the team is lying about him playing.
Wow, you sprained your ankle and you didn't cry, that is amazing, we are all very very proud of you. Every injury is different, every person has different pain thresh holds and no one gives a **** that you sprained your ankle once.

I shut my finger in the car door one time and it turned all black and the fingernail fell off. That hurt a lot. Mac Jones must be a ****y.
I fell down on the ice once and landed on my butt. It was cold, my butt was cold and wet. I cried on the inside. Mac Jones must be a ****y.
I got drunk and jumped off a dock into a foot of water I thought was much deeper. It hurt but I was drunk, I might have cried, but I can't remember. Mac Jones is such a ****y.

I hate stupid posts, please no one give a flying **** about how tough anyone is.

It's funny - people hate Bill cos he shows no emotion, then they hate Mac cos he shows too much emotion.

I'm all for the emotion as long as he can harness it, it felt like on some of the Parker INT attempts he was perhaps too carried away with excitement.

Is this his dad? He is a big boy, he will be ok. Did you have tears in your eyes when you wrote that? It seems like you did.

What if... he actually plays this weekend? And every week? Take some painkillers and just power through? That'd take some balls... It's his non-plant leg so I guess I could see how it's possible, but he'd have a hard time with any kind of plays from under center... It'd need to be a lot of shotgun.

Would be funny if the reported impasse between him and the team isn't "Bill wants him back in 4 weeks and Mac wants to take 6", but instead "Bill wants him to take 4 weeks off but Mac says he's not missing a game." Went and got a second opinion to try to find a doctor who will tell him he can play this week.

I mean do you really think his team mates are going to say, wow what a baby. So he is tough because he hoped on one foot off the field? Is this your theory?

Bill usually will not play a player that does not practice all week.

I scream like that when I stub a toe maybe you're a tough guy or maybe you're just an internet tough guy but it seemed like a large man awkwardly dragged him down and landed on him. Looked pretty painful to me regardless of how much damage it caused.
LOL

Yeah, I know there are alot of leaders there still.. however I feel like privately.. players especially on offense are questioning.. in this day and era in the NFL kind of strange no having named coordinators.. however judge and Patricia are only back here because is economical for the team..
They're here because BB believes they can do the job.

Mac is a legend if he plays and wins
