We have probably $100 million to spend and there’s not a ton of FA talent this year worth spending the money on. Why not spend it on a competent QB for two years? It’ll be a nice change around here.

Listening to Wolf, they are definitely spending and going after "weapons." To me that means WR, TE, RB.

The devoid of a true FS is why Dugger isn't or didn't have the production. The FS like the Mike LB is essential for a defense. We need to address this in FA, my hope is mills resigns and he can start at FS.. he's done it in Philly..

I agree. Mills has experience and offers great value. I think he can be a really good player back there at a fraction of the cost as some of the guys on the market. Kind of a no brainer it seems. I don't know, maybe Chauncey gardener Johnson

Yes absolutely. I like mills too. And the funny thing is guys that are FAs want to remain here! KB, mills, Henry all said they want to remain becuase the want to be part of the build back. With Phillips gone it definitely creates a realistic chance mills re-signs. It's pretty much a no brainer right? Mills has the size, range and instinct to play FS at a high level.

That's what I was wondering. Maybe get Jefferson in trade, Kirk Cousins in free agency and a high enough draft pick to get your LT. It's not my ideal scenario, but it is an interesting one.

I'm surprised that in 4 years together, the Cousins and Jefferson duo have been to exactly 1 playoff game and lost to a 9-7-1 team, and this is with Adam Thielen as WR2 for 3 of those years. It's not Megatron levels of waste of talent, but man... KC's starting records with JJ have been 7-9, 8-8, 13-4, 1-4.

Mills was alright for what he was paid. Hell he was playing #1 corner and was holding it down. I don't think he ever got a fair crack at FS. I mean you can go pull all your nerdy analytic robot stats up but the eye test says if he is your 11th best player on D making chump change it might not be a bad stop gap while your trying to improve the team. Pats can't get world beaters at every position instantly. But I like the idea of Jonathan Jones going to FS even more so **** it

Ok was this team 4-13 last season or 13-4, ? Mills doesn't suck.. there about 3,4 players on offense that I'd say suck first before we get to him. I think your assessment is wrong on him. He's a solid DB.. and besides it was just a thought we know he's likely gone anyway the topic was about finding a true FS for the defense.

Jonnu Smith was released, 580 yards and 3 TDs for Atlanta with bad QBing.

I'm not against if the price is right , bringing back him and Henry, maybe AVP can make better use of the tight ends. It seems like Henry was the only player catching TD passes with some regularity in the past couple of years.

No but franchising Sneed is a sign that they either are confident about signing Jones or have decided to let him walk. He’s getting big bucks either way but KC’s defense without him isn't nearly as good

I am sure many AFC Offensive Linemen would love to see Chris Jones in the NFC he buckled quite a few knees Cole Strange's included. Chris Jones coupled with Barmore would be nice.

Your first sentence was fine, but your 2nd sentence made me laugh. Wilson has physical tools and a 10 cent football brain. At least Mac had shown *some* prolonged success at the NFL level. Zach won AFC player of the week once and that’s it.
