We need to be clear. We need to get a free safety who fits our defense as well as good as Dugger. I suspect that Mayo would be fine with bringing back Dugger.

We do need a backup FS to replace Mills (is it Bledsoe?),

We also need a SS replacement for Phillips (is it Mapu?)

I find it interesting that everyone keeps says Onwenu isn’t a good fit for the new blocking scheme but yet Wolf and Mayo called him a cornerstone, Mayo referring to him as Big Mike and how much they want him back. Some thoughts on this. Maybe the blocking scheme isn’t changing as much as we think? Perhaps they think if it does change that “Big Mike” is athletic enough to adapt? Or…they’re really full of **** and want to gove off the impression that they tried to retain him. The whole thing is fascinating.

I wouldn't mind seeing sidy sow get another crack at tackle too. Last year wasn't good there but learning a new position your rookie season is tough. And he too fits the scheme
Onwenwu is a good to real good tackle but could be an elite RG
