League reviewing “all aspects” of pregame scuffle in Foxboro

Not taking sides, but why were JB and MM running through the bills DB drills?

From the video, it looks to me they were right on the bounds of the sideline. Bills players ran over to them.

In other words, when buffalo was complaining that our guys were running through their drills they were full of it?

They were not.
Brissett did what Tom Brady does EVERY SINGLE GAME when he comes out. He ran the length of the field down the Patriots sideline. He was not running through their drills.

Upstater said it more succinctly, but:

I don't know the rules, written or unwritten, about "territory" for pre-game warmups and drills, but the video that AtomicDawg posted on page 1 shows Brissett and Mitchell running near the sideline on what I believe (based on the the bridge in the background) would be the Patriots side of the field. Also, at the very beginning of the clip, there are no Bills players in the picture. They come running in from the left. Maybe the Bills DBs were running sideline to sideline and Brissett and Mitchell had passed in front of them on their jog down the field and were going to do the same thing on the way back.

One of the Bills players called Brissett and Mitchell jogging by "extremely disrespectful." That seems pretty childish. Plus, the argument can be made that the Bills running right towards the opposing team's bench area is also disrespectful, if they want to get into the absurd realm of who can run where and who might it offend.

Here is exactly what happened.
Brissett continued the Brady (and Jimmy G btw) tradition of coming out on the field and running from the tunnel all the way down the sideline to the end zone and then back, on the Patriots sideline. Mitchell ran with him.
A Bills player ran over to Brissett and shoved him, Brissett kept running, Mitchell objected, a slew of Bills surrounded him and some Patriots coaches and staff, and the Bills players also shoved them.

The league isn't going to do anything. Not after Robey-Coleman's "explanation" that Brissett and Mitchell supposedly ran through their Pre-Game DB Drills..

Personally, Robey-Coleman's explanation is BS because that doesn't explain why Blanton ran half-way across the field to engage..

Patriots QBs always run along THEIR sidelines. You should be very skeptical of claims that they "ran through Bills DB drills".

Thing is, Rex is gonna figure this intimidation act worked. Look for worse on their home turf in Buffalo if the NYJFL* doesn't quash it now.

Question is what are we going to do about this? Now that the king is back, we do it the only way, patriot way, on the field on October 30th.

The league won't do shyt about anything that happens TO the Patriots. Now if the Pats did the same thing the league would sweep in for the integrity of the entire NFL and stomp them.

Providing they have their way, they will run up the score.

I just realized that Robert Blanton, the main instigator here, had never played at Gillette before yesterday and had only played against the Patriots once before, as a member of the Vikings. Maybe he has a history of doing stuff like this, but it seems really odd that someone would get so worked up about something he had never seen before. Maybe he and his coaches or teammates discussed doing something like this before the game.
