Ladies and Gentlemen, your 1st place New England Patriots

I understand that they’re 5-0 on the road which is awesome, but with that said, they (and Mac) haven’t played at any imposing environments yet. Wins in NJ (lifeless crowd), Houston, Carolina, and Atlanta…. and Los Angeles was practically a home game with all the Pats fans there. It’ll be a lot different going into Kansas City, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, or even Cleveland or Denver in the playoffs if it comes to it, especially with a rookie QB. I want the HFA for HFA purposes…..

plus the better road record is most likely a fluke. There’s really no logic backing road games being an advantage for future purposes other than rare cases and that’s mostly teams that dont have a home crowd like us. Being at Gillette is always an advantage

wrong thread

Woops there it is, i just had to go and look. Its been a while. Now i have to go over to the jest suck thread to reaffirm, once again, they SUCK

No, I was wrong. Common opponents comes first, then conference record.
Just checked Pats have big advantage over kc in both comm opps and conf record. Comm opps right now Pats 2-0 kc 1-3.

FWIW, I don't remember the total, but there is a minimum number of games required for common opponents to be a factor at all.

Confirmation that the jete suck is never necessary.

sweeett!

hahahah Buffalo! Sweet baby jesus you guys suck! Too bad the Bears couldn't beat the depleted Ravens but lets hope Dallas can beat KC.

The number is 4, but in today's game given the way the schedule is set up, all AFC teams have at least 4 games against common opponents with all other AFC teams.

Is Houston running the Pats offense and Defense?
Not trying to be accurate - trying to be snarky as I admit error. He was an assistant in Houston so full access - yes for another regime, but for snark doesn't really matter.

Nick Wright was whooping it up early in the season saying Pats were a bad team with a bad QB and maybe a bad coach too. Now he says Mac is “just fine but he’ll never be great”. Moving up I guess…

There are teams that must be embarrassed. The door was open. The Bills dynasty was set to begin. The Dolphins were ascending. No. No, you do not get to know joy AFCE fanbases.
