While I like the statement because it clears up the argument about who was calling the shots. That said, the best decision Bob Kraft ever made was taking Belichick away from the Jets and giving him total control of the Patriots. That was the beginning of the longest Dynasty run in football history. Acting now like it was a mistake is not only ignorant, but it’s also a douchebag move. It’s ignorant because he’s not acknowledging the greatness of what happened for his own franchise, and a douchebag move because he’s trying to act like it was wrong for Belichick to have that much control, when they never would have had that dynasty run if he hadn’t given him that.

Belichick gets the good with the , 20 great years and 4 bad ones. He owns both, and that still makes him the GOAT.

I can give you one absolute example of Kraft's control: he foisted Guerrero on Belichick in 2019 despite Guerrero giving players training advice that contradicted the coaches.

You can keep trying to deny it all you want, but that’s the final answer on the issue.

And giving Belichick total control of the franchise was the best decision Kraft ever made. It led to a 20 year dynasty, and the Patriots went from being worth a couple hundred million to 6 billion, and the 6th most valuable franchise in sports worldwide. Belichick and Tom Brady gifted the to Kraft, and he should be eternally grateful to both of them, and not ****ting where he eats.

What Kraft said was a compliment to Belichick, he was just too ignorant to realize it. Belichick got total control that night in the car when Kraft got him to bail in the Jets and take over the Patriots. Belichick created the greatest Dynasty in league history with that control.

How does it clear up the argument? This is Kraft saying it. After he said something entirely different 5 years ago. And after he also said something different in the Dynasty documentary.

If I make contradictory or hypocritical statements a few years apart, that's far from providing clarity. That is muddying things up.
