Kraft regrets giving Belichick so much power without “checks and balances” in place.

Really Andy?
Clueless at times perhaps ... inflated ego perhaps .. fake persona at times (couldn't resist)
but scum is way way over the line.

You know that Patriot place was built non union? Most of it anyways. In a state like Massachusetts, where democrats and union are as sacred as thanksgiving and football? …

That’s exactly how I see it as well. Bill ran that organization, Kraft went along for the ride, when Kraft started to interfere, Bill ruined the team. Bill was thinking long term, get rid of Brady, start a new dynasty. Kraft OBVIOUSLY had to agree, then had sellers remorse. I believe the Mac-adamian nut was forced on Bill, Bill revolted and hired the wrong people to **** over Kraft.

I don’t think Belichick deliberately Salvatore’s the team because he was chasing both Shula’s record and another ring. I just think his hubris caught up with him, and I think coaches his age have a tough time when the assistants they trust are gone, and you get coaches go to younger staffs for upward mobility.

A guy walks into a bar. He wears an expensive suit, and he has a beautiful woman with him. He also has an orange for a head. As soon as he walks in, all eyes turn to him. People can’t stop staring. He walks up to the bar, orders a round for the house, and pays with crisp, clean $100 bills. Not normally one to pry, the bartender says, “I can’t help but notice you appear rich, successful, and beloved. You also have an orange for a head, how did that happen?”

The guy with the orange for a head says, “Well, it’s a funny story, actually. One day, I was walking along the beach and I found this dusty old lamp in the sand. I picked it up, gave it a polish with my sleeve, and a genie popped out. As a reward for freeing him, he gave me three wishes.

“First, I wished for limitless success in business; and it was done.

“Then, I wished to be irresistible to people, particularly women; and it was done.

“Then — and this is the part where I admit I messed up a little — I wished that my head was an orange.”
I can picture Norm MacDonald telling this one.

Do you think that Bill didn’t see the coaches leaving as a sign? Or that when he woke up in the morning and looked in the mirror saw an old man? I’m sure he spent many hours thinking about the Shula, Bills a smart guy. I’m sure he realized awhile back he wasn’t going to catch him. He knows his place in history, it’s solidified. I’m sure that’s part of the reason he doesn’t say **** about Kraft. Without Kraft hiring him, there ain’t no 6 rings. Kraft is delusional, he doesn’t see his place in history. That’s why he’s pushing for the Jacket. Worst part , I don’t believe Bill will write a spill the guts book ever. Kraft keeps taking potshots …

If you have ever been laid off, you'd know that these severance packages have legal mumbo jumbo stating that if you ever say anything bad about the company, you will have to pay back your severance pay. Though I seriously doubt they could get it back once paid, if they haven't fully paid you, they could easily stop. If Bill hasn't gotten fully paid what's coming to him, he is in no position to say anything negative about the Patriots. It's probably also why he's not coaching anywhere this year.

While I like the statement because it clears up the argument about who was calling the shots. That said, the best decision Bob Kraft ever made was taking Belichick away from the Jets and giving him total control of the Patriots. That was the beginning of the longest Dynasty run in football history. Acting now like it was a mistake is not only ignorant, but it’s also a douchebag move. It’s ignorant because he’s not acknowledging the greatness of what happened for his own franchise, and a douchebag move because he’s trying to act like it was wrong for Belichick to have that much control, when they never would have had that dynasty run if he hadn’t given him that.

Belichick gets the good with the , 20 great years and 4 bad ones. He owns both, and that still makes him the GOAT.

So thanks Bob, and **** you Bob.
It clears up who Kraft now wants you to think was calling the shots. You can’t believe a word out of his mouth.

Or he’s just above it

Belichick is just like Brady, he hates to lose, and the only time I saw him lose on purpose was when he had Brady chuck it into the stands against Miami so they could meet Jacksonville in the first round of the playoffs, so that was strategic. I don’t believe he would ever tarnish his legacy by losing on purpose. I agree that he hates Kraft, I just don’t believe he would deliberately tarnish his own legacy to get at him.

I think we all knew Kraft was a jellyfish after he stopped supporting Brady during Deflategate
He didn't exactly go out of his way to support Bill for violating a memo either.
I also remember him lacking the chutzpah to sue the league.
Bob needs to stop talking.

It would be enough to keep him out of the HOF if it was ever proven he threw games on purpose. I am sure he did not. He picked Jones and the rest of them - it didn’t work out. Sht happens

He’s right. People can ***** and whine about him saying it now, but it was a major problem.

-only one coach in the league would be allowed to let the best player in franchise history walk in free agency for absolutely nothing.

-only one coach in the league would be allowed to let Matt Patricia be the OC.

-only one GM would have gotten away that long with as many awful drafts as he has.

Belichick got freedom and without a certain QB to put makeup over it, he proved he was wrong and Kraft looked like an idiot for letting Bill do it.
There are three B's and two of them ought to be very thankful for the one who fell into their laps.

He had Brady. He has 11 years without Brady that you can review. And yeah 5-11 in 2000. Almost like a super elite QB covers a lot
The question that fascinates me is how long was Bill going to wait until he put Brady in if Drew didn't get hurt in 2001. It's entirely possible that Drew would have stayed in for too many games for Brady to bring them back and they would have missed the playoffs. I know a lot of fans want to claim that Bill was going to make the move anyway but how can we know that. Bill was under the gun with Drew's contract and Brady was still pretty raw.

I hate to do what ifs, it worked out and we enjoyed a long line of success, I leave it at that and have hope for the future after Sunday's game.

This would be my choice.
We can only dream about someone who earned his way to a HC opportunity.

He may well bust once he gets it (and odds are he will, too few men on this planet can pull off that job) but his odds are way better than anyone who didn't earn his chance.

I know. But like all rich people say , the first million is the hardest, he married his. Kind of a chick thing to do if you ask me ….but what do I know.
John Kerry married rich widows twice. Does that make him double chick?

Time for Bob to stop speaking into microphones.
